GSSSB Junior Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 266 Posts

The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB) has published the Junior Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 Notification on 06 June 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 266 Junior Pharmacist (Class-3) positions under the Health and Family Welfare Department. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of application (25-06-2026). Only Indian Citizens or those with nationality as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 (Rule 7) are eligible to apply. | Criteria Details Educational Qualification (i) Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized University/Institution; OR (ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution with about 2 years experience as Junior Pharmacist in Government/Government Undertaking/Board or as Dispenser in hospital/dispensary or as Pharmacist/Medical Representative in a pharmaceutical company Computer Knowledge Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967. Certificate/Marksheet from any training institute, or Diploma/Degree/Certificate course in computer from a recognized university, or Computer as a subject in 10th/12th standard. If not available at the time of application, the candidate must produce the certificate before appointment. Language Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both. Pharmacy Council Registration Candidate appointed by direct selection shall be required to register with the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council as per the Pharmacy Act, 1948 at the time of appointment, if not already registered. Nationality Indian Citizen or as per Rule 7 of Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Security Bond The appointed candidate shall be required to furnish a security and surety bond in the prescribed form and for the prescribed amount and period as determined by the Government.
