GSSSB Junior Industrial Inspector Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online

Gujarat Gauna Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has released Advertisement No. 442/202627 to fill 3 vacancies for the post of Junior Industry Inspector, Class-3 (Junior Udyog Nirikshak, Varg-3) under the office of the Industries Commissioner, Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat. This recruitment is being conducted exclusively under the Special Recruitment Drive for Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) candidates to fill the backlog of PwD reserved vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online through ojas.gujarat.gov.in from 20 July 2026 to 3 August 2026.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) from a university established/incorporated under a Central or State Act in India, or an institution recognized as a deemed university under the UGC Act, 1956; OR | A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) from the Technical Examination Board or a Government-recognized institution, along with about 2 years of practical experience as a technical worker (not as labour) in Government service, a Government undertaking, or an industry/company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013. | Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 (candidates without this certificate at the time of application may still apply, but must submit it before appointment). | Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.

Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed pay of ₹40,800 per month for the first five years, as per the Finance Department resolutions (last revised 18 October 2023). After five years of satisfactory service, the candidate becomes eligible for regular appointment in the 7th Pay Commission pay scale of ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5), subject to the outcome of Supreme Court cases SLP No. 14124/2012 and SLP No. 14125/2012.

1. Combined duration for Part A and Part B: 3 hours (180 minutes).
2. Negative marking: 1/4th of the marks allotted to a question is deducted for every wrong answer.
3. Qualifying standard: Candidates must score at least 40% in Part A AND at least 40% in Part B separately (independent qualifying standards); this minimum cannot be relaxed for any category.
4. After the provisional result, roughly 2 times the number of vacancies (category/disability-group wise) will be called for document verification.
5. The final selection list and waiting list will be prepared disability-group wise (A, B, C, D & E) based on merit.
