GSRTC Conductor Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 4318 Posts

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has published the Conductor Notification 2026 on 06 June 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 4318 Conductor positions. Candidates within the age range of 18 to 45 years and holding Class 12 Pass qualification along with a valid Conductor Licence and Badge are eligible to apply online at ojas.gujarat.gov.in. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of application i.e., 05-07-2026. All original certificates of educational qualification, age, caste, experience, and other qualifications must be in possession at the time of application. | Criteria Details Minimum Educational Qualification Class 12 Pass (10+2) from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any equivalent recognized board. Diploma (10+3 or more years after Class 10) is also accepted. ITI (2-year or more NCVT-passed course after Class 10 + English subject passed from GSEB or Gujarat Open School Examination) and 3-year Polytechnic Diploma after Class 10 are also treated as equivalent to Class 12 for government service purposes (with equivalence certificate from Education Board). Conductor Licence & Badge Valid Conductor Licence issued by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) AND Badge must be held at the time of online application. If the Conductor Licence and Badge are not valid on the date of application, the application will be rejected. Computer Knowledge Must possess a Basic Computer Knowledge certificate/marksheet from a training institute as per Gujarat Government GAD Resolution No. CRR-10-2007-120320-G-5 dated 13/08/2008, OR any Diploma/Degree/Certificate course in Computer from a recognized University/Institution, OR Class 10/12 passed with Computer as a subject. Certificate must be dated before the last date of application. Vision Clear (normal) vision required Nationality Indian citizen; OR subject of Nepal/Bhutan; OR Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01/01/1962 with intention of permanent settlement; OR person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries etc. for permanent settlement in India (eligibility certificate from Government required for the latter categories)

Ex-Servicemen are entitled to relaxation equal to the period of military service rendered plus 3 additional years (maximum up to 45 years). Maximum age with all relaxations must not exceed 45 years under any circumstances.
