GMC Narayanpet Recruitment 2026 - Walk in for 66 Professor, Associate Professor and More Posts

Government Medical College (GMC) Narayanpet Recruitment 2026 notification has been released for the recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Tutor, and CAS Specialist posts on a contract basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through walk-in interview at Government Medical College & General Hospital, Narayanpet, Telangana.

One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognised medical institution (this requirement is relaxed for those directly appointed as Assistant Professor in a Government medical institute before these regulations; Tutor experience with a PG degree, or Demonstrator experience with an M.Sc. and Ph.D., may be counted as equivalent). | Specialist Medical Officers of the Armed Forces with at least one year of teaching experience, or two years of clinical experience after the PG qualification. | A non-teaching Consultant/Specialist/Medical Officer with a PG medical degree and at least two years of experience in a Government hospital of at least 220 beds (must complete BCBR within two years of appointment). | Diploma holders appointed as Senior Residents in a recognised medical institution before 08.06.2017, with four years' total Senior Resident experience. | Diploma holders working as Specialist/Medical Officer in a Government medical institution running an NBEMS-recognised teaching programme, with cumulative six years' experience.

Remuneration is a consolidated, all-inclusive amount, subject to deduction of income tax and any other statutory deductions, as prescribed in G.O.Rt.No.1276, Finance (HRM.VII) Department, dated 16.07.2026. Post Consolidated Remuneration (per month) Professor ₹1,90,000 Associate Professor ₹1,50,000 Assistant Professor ₹1,25,000 Tutor ₹55,000 CAS Specialist ₹80,000 Salary/remuneration is payable strictly on the basis of attendance recorded through the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS), as per applicable Government rules.

1. Tutor: Selection is based on the theory marks obtained in MBBS.
2. Assistant Professor: Selection is based on the theory marks obtained in the MD/MS/DNB/MDS/M.Sc. (Clinical) postgraduate qualification. Where marks are not awarded in the qualifying exam, 50% of the maximum marks is considered for this purpose.
3. Teaching Experience: For all cadres/posts, the duration of teaching experience in the respective cadre/post is considered as one of the selection criteria.
4. Rule of Reservation: Applicable only where more than one vacancy is notified under a particular post/category, as per applicable Government rules.
5. DNB Candidates: Considered for selection as per the latest prevailing NMC guidelines.
6. Additional Weightage: Extra weightage/points are given to candidates who have previously worked, or are presently working, at Government Medical College & General Hospital, Narayanpet.
7. Final Authority: The decision of the Selection Committee is final and binding on all matters relating to recruitment and selection.
