Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT) Assistant Professor Notification 2026 has been released on the official website of GBPUAT. A total of 63 vacancies have been announced through the GBPUAT Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026 for various disciplines across seven colleges of the university.

A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) in a concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. | The candidate must also have cleared NET conducted by UGC, ICAR, or CSIR, or an equivalent test accredited by UGC such as SLET/SET - OR hold a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 (with certain conditions for candidates registered before 11 July 2009). | Alternatively, a Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 globally by QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai) also satisfies the qualification. | A basic B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India, and registration with the State/Central Veterinary Council. | In addition, the Master's degree (55% marks) plus NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.-based exemption criteria described above, OR a Ph.D. from a top-500-ranked foreign university/institution. | As per AICTE Regulation 2019: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) in the relevant branch, with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. | As per AICTE Regulation 2019: a Bachelor's degree in any discipline and a Master's Degree in Business Administration / PGDM / C.A. / ICWA / M.Com. with first class or equivalent, along with two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master's degree. | A 5% relaxation is allowed at both Bachelor's and Master's level for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates for the purpose of eligibility and assessing academic record. | A 5% relaxation (from 55% to 50%) is provided to Ph.D. degree holders who obtained their Master's degree prior to 19 September 1991.
