A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale) in a concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. | The candidate must also have cleared NET conducted by UGC, ICAR, or CSIR, or an equivalent test accredited by UGC such as SLET/SET - OR hold a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 (with certain conditions for candidates registered before 11 July 2009). | Alternatively, a Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 globally by QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai) also satisfies the qualification. | A basic B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India, and registration with the State/Central Veterinary Council. | In addition, the Master's degree (55% marks) plus NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.-based exemption criteria described above, OR a Ph.D. from a top-500-ranked foreign university/institution. | As per AICTE Regulation 2019: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.S. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.S.
