The selected candidates for the Stenographer Grade-II post will draw a pay scale of Rs. 22,000 - Rs. 97,000 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 9,700/-, along with other allowances applicable as per rules.

1. The written test will consist of objective type (OMR based) multiple choice questions.
2. English Language Proficiency: 50 marks
3. Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese): 20 marks
4. Total: 70 marks, duration 1½ hours
5. Both English and Assamese language segments are of qualifying nature, and candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each segment to qualify.
