EMRS Jashpur Recruitment 2026 - Walkin for 48 TGT, Counselor and More Posts

The Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in Jashpur district, Chhattisgarh, have released separate press notifications for guest teacher, counsellor and staff nurse recruitment for the 2026-27 academic session. Five schools - EMRS Farsabahar, EMRS Sanna, EMRS Dhudhrudand (with Baraikela), EMRS Manora, and EMRS Gholeng - are together inviting applications for 48 posts on a temporary, contractual (guest teacher) basis under the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.

Post-graduate degree from a recognised university in the relevant subject (Chemistry, English, Economics, History, Geography, Political Science, Biology, Hindi, etc.) | B.Ed degree (not required if the candidate holds an integrated 4-year degree) | M.Sc (Computer Science/IT) or MCA from a recognised university/institute, OR | M.E./M.Tech (Computer Science/IT) from a recognised university/institute | Four-year integrated degree course from a Regional College of Education (NCERT) or other NCTE-recognised institution in the concerned subject, OR | Bachelor's Honours degree in the concerned subject (subject studied for at least 2 years in a 3-year degree course), OR | Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with the subject studied in all three years of the degree course | Subject-specific combinations apply for TGT Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Studies and Sanskrit (see the official notification for full clause-wise detail) | Must have passed CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by CBSE as per NCTE guidelines | B.Ed degree (not required for the 4-year integrated degree course) | Competence to teach through English and Hindi | Bachelor's degree (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognised university, OR | Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised university, OR | Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognised university/institute, PLUS registration as a Nurse or Nurse (MW) with the State Nursing Council, PLUS 2.5 years of experience in a hospital with 50 or more beds (applicable in the Post Basic B.Sc case) | Master's Degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology from a recognised university | One-year Diploma in Guidance & Counselling from a recognised university or institution | Must have studied the local language of the state (Chhattisgarhi/Hindi) up to Class VIII

Post Age Limit PGT Guest Teacher 21 to 40 years TGT Guest Teacher 21 to 35 years Staff Nurse Maximum 35 years Age proof will be based on the marksheet issued by the Board for the High School Certificate Examination, or a marksheet/certificate issued by a competent authority. Age relaxation for ST/SC/OBC and other categories will be given as per Government of India norms. (The notification does not specify an age limit for the Counsellor post separately.)
