DRDO CVRDE Paid Internship Recruitment 2026 - Apply Offline for 35 Posts

Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE) Paid Internship Recruitment 2026 notification has been released on the official website https://drdo.gov.in/. A total of 35 internship positions have been announced through the CVRDE Paid Internship Recruitment 2026 for the academic year 2026-27.

Regular students pursuing an Engineering Degree in B.E/B.Tech (7th/8th semester) or M.E/M.Tech (1st/2nd year) full-time course in the relevant discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institute. | Only regular students from AICTE-approved technical institutions or UGC-approved universities are eligible to apply. | Candidates should have a minimum 8.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 85% marks, maintained continuously in all previous semesters. | Students with backlogs are not eligible. | The scheme is open only to students holding Indian nationality. | Students already receiving a stipend or similar benefit from any other institute are not eligible for this internship programme.

Below 28 years as on 1st July 2026.

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000/- for the six-month duration. The stipend is paid in two slabs of three months each, with Rs. 15,000/- credited directly to the student's bank account per slab. No boarding, lodging, or transport allowance is provided; students must make their own arrangements. A wet canteen facility is available at CVRDE for lunch and tea on a payment basis.

1. Selection is entirely on a merit basis, considering the candidate's academic track record (≥85% marks or ≥8.5 CGPA in every previous semester).
2. Shortlisted students will be intimated through their registered e-mail ID along with joining instructions.
3. Candidates who are not selected will not receive any communication.
4. CVRDE/DRDO reserves the right to change the vacancy positions or selection criteria at any point during the selection process without assigning any reason.
