Deoria UP Anganwadi Worker & Helper Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 408 Posts

The Office of the District Programme Officer, Deoria has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Anganwadi Karyakatri (Worker) and Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) under the Integrated Child Development Services scheme. A total of 408 vacancies (146 Karyakatri and 262 Sahayika) are open across various projects/blocks in Deoria district. Only female candidates are eligible to apply. 1. Selection for both Anganwadi Karyakatri and Sahayika posts will be entirely merit-based, conducted online through the departmental portal.
2. No written examination or interview will be conducted for these posts.
3. If more than one eligible candidate is available in the same category for a post, a merit list will be prepared among all such eligible candidates.
4. For Sahayika posts, the minimum qualification considered is Intermediate or equivalent, and the maximum qualification considered is Postgraduate, for merit preparation.
5. Merit calculation formula: The percentage of marks obtained by a candidate is divided by 10 to arrive at the marks used for merit. For example, a candidate scoring 45% in Intermediate will be awarded 4.5 marks; a candidate scoring 59% will be awarded 5.9 marks.
6. For candidates with grading or CGPA systems, marks will be calculated using an equivalent conversion method in the same manner.
7. Merit will be calculated up to three decimal places; no rounding off will be done after the decimal point.
8. As per the applicable Government Order, no reservation benefit is available for EWS category, differently-abled (Divyang) category, or dependents of freedom fighters in this selection.
