DEI Teaching and Non Teaching Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 128 Office Assistant, Junior Assistant and More Posts

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) Recruitment 2026 notification was released on 28 July 2026 at www.dei.ac.in. Around 128 teaching and non-teaching vacancies have been announced for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Teacher and various other posts.

Applicants must be Indian nationals (including Persons of Indian Origin) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs). | A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the master's level is the essential qualification for direct recruitment of teachers and equivalent cadres at any level. | A 5% relaxation at Bachelor's and Master's level is allowed for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and specified categories of Persons with Disabilities, based on qualifying marks only (no grace marks). | NET/SLET/SET remains the minimum eligibility for Assistant Professor and equivalent posts wherever prescribed under UGC Regulations 2018, except for candidates who hold a Ph.D. awarded under specified UGC Ph.D. Regulations and who satisfy the listed conditions (regular-mode Ph.D., evaluation by two external examiners, open viva-voce, two research papers with at least one in a refereed journal, and two conference presentations). | Teaching posts in DEI P.V. Girls' Intermediate College are open only to female candidates. | Teaching and non-teaching posts in DEI R.E.I. Intermediate College, and non-teaching posts in DEI Technical College, are open only to male candidates. | Employed applicants must apply through proper channel or submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer before the Seminar-cum-Presentation/Aptitude Test/Trade Test/Interview.

Pay is fixed as per the UGC/7th CPC-aligned Pay Level applicable to each post. For teaching posts on the main campus: Post Pay Level Professor Level 14 Associate Professor Level 13A Assistant Professor Level 10 Non-teaching and other teaching posts (Technical College, PV, REI) carry Pay Levels ranging from Level 1 to Level 14, as indicated against each post in the Eligibility Criteria section above. The notification does not specify exact in-hand salary figures or allowances; these will follow applicable Pay Level rules.
