The District Collector & District Magistrate Office, Thane (Thane DC) has released a notification (Reference No. General/Room-4/Setu/KaVi 08/2026, dated 18 August 2026) inviting applications for 381 vacant Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra locations in the rural areas of Thane district. Online applications can be submitted from 20 August 2026 to 20 September 2026 via the prescribed Google Form, with the printed, document-attached application to be physically submitted to the Resident Naib Tehsildar of the concerned taluka before 22 September 2026.

Minimum age of 18 years. | Minimum qualification: passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th / H.S.C.) examination. | Basic computer knowledge is required; candidates holding an MSCIT or equivalent certificate will be given preference. | Must be a local resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat area applied for (the entire Gram Panchayat area is treated as the geographic unit for this purpose). | Must possess Aadhaar number, PAN, a bank account, and other necessary identity documents. | Must not have been found guilty of moral turpitude, financial fraud, or cyber crime. | Must have knowledge of Marathi and English.
