An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject and actively engaged in research. | A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a total Research Score of 120, as per the criteria in Appendix II Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018. | A minimum of 10 years’ teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, or equivalent research experience at an equivalent level. | OR an outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in the concerned subject from any academic institution/industry, who has made a significant contribution to knowledge. | A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject. | A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point scale) in the concerned subject. | A minimum of 8 years’ experience in teaching or research in an academic/research post equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research institution. | A minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a total Research Score of 75, as per the criteria in Appendix II Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018. | Academic Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point scale) in the concerned subject, from an Indian University or an accredited foreign University. Relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. | Eligibility Test: The candidate must have cleared NET/CSIR-NET conducted by UGC-CSIR, or SET-NE, in the concerned subject. | Exemption from NET/SLET/SET: Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments) are exempted.

1. Academic score is considered for shortlisting candidates for interview only – the final selection is based solely on interview performance.
2. Assistant Professor: Shortlisting is based on academic score as per Appendix II Table 3A of UGC Regulations, 2018.
3. Associate Professor & Professor: Shortlisting is based on verification of minimum eligibility, API Research Score verification, and evaluation of publications as per Appendix II Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018.
4. Candidates are called for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3 for Assistant Professor, 1:5 for Associate Professor, and 1:5 for Professor , relative to the number of vacancies, based on shortlisting scores.
5. Final selection is based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview.
6. Only candidates who have produced all required documents in original relating to their educational qualification, date of birth, caste, community, and other certificates wherever required and prescribed by Rules will be deemed qualified to be called for Personal Interview.
