CSIR IMMT Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 11 Project Assistant & Project Associate Posts

CSIR-IMMT Recruitment 2026 has been announced by the CSIR - Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT), Bhubaneswar, inviting online applications from bonafide Indian citizens for 11 temporary project positions, including Project Assistant, Project Associate, and Senior Project Associate posts. These posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the sponsoring project. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official portal at rects.immt.res.in on or before 24.07.2026 (up to 5:00 pm).

Result awaiting candidates are not eligible to apply. | Candidates pursuing a Ph.D. (including AcSIR Ph.D.) can apply only if their research domain aligns with the project's research area, and only after obtaining prior permission/NOC from their Director/Competent Authority. | Currently employed candidates must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of application and produce the original at the time of interview.

The maximum age limit as on the last date of receipt of application is 35 years for post codes 8501 to 8510, and 40 years for post code 8511 (Senior Project Associate). | Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates, or as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time.

1. Screening of applications received, based on criteria fixed by the Competent Authority. Merely fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee an interview call.
2. Walk-in interview at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar for shortlisted candidates.
3. Final selection recommendation by the selection committee based on candidate performance. Panels may also be prepared for future project requirements.
