CPCB Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 51 DEO, Field Assistant and More Posts

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), has invited applications for 51 posts on contract basis under the project "Strengthening of Environmental Regulators (SER)-Phase-III Project" on River Ganga, vide Advertisement No. 02/WQM-II/2025-Admin.(R). The project is funded by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the Namami Gange Programme up to 06.05.2028, and may be extended further. The CPCB Recruitment 2026 online application window is open from 24 August 2026 (10:00 AM) to 7 September 2026 (23:59 Hrs).

Candidates must have passed the qualifying degree examination and been awarded the M.Sc./Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology (full-time regular courses only) from recognized Indian Universities/Institutes. | Period spent acquiring a Ph.D. degree will not be considered as experience. | Candidates with a Bachelor's in engineering/technology or an integrated Master's degree in engineering/technology will be considered for posts marked for engineering/technology streams; otherwise, candidates will be considered for posts marked for science streams. | Candidates who have received a degree or a valid provisional certificate as on the closing date of application may apply. Candidates awaiting final semester results, or final-year appearing students, are not eligible.
