CMTI Bengaluru Recruitment 2026: Walk-in Interview for 71 Project Associate & Assistant Posts

The Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), Bengaluru has released Advertisement No. 05/2026 inviting eligible candidates for recruitment on a contract basis through walk-in-interview. First Class is defined as an aggregate of 60% marks across all semesters of the qualifying examination. Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000/- + HRA per month Project Associate-I: ₹25,000/- + HRA per month (₹31,000/- + HRA if NET/GATE qualified) Project Associate-II: ₹28,000/- + HRA per month (₹35,000/- + HRA if NET/GATE qualified) Project Assistant-II: ₹20,000/- + HRA per month Project Assistant-I: ₹18,000/- + HRA per month Data Entry Operator cum Assistant: ₹20,000/- + HRA per month, or ₹22,000/- + HRA per month for the Finance-experienced DEO post Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow (stipend criteria referenced in notes): As per DST norms House Rent Allowance (HRA) is paid at 30% of the stipend.
