Qualification
Professor: MCI/NMC recognized Post graduate (MD/MS/DNB/DrNB/MDS/M.Sc, Ph.D) from an institute established by law in India. Assistant professor in the subject for three years in NMC/MCI recognized Medical College/institution. Specialist Medical Officer of the Armed Forces having at least three years of experience as Associate Professor in the relevant specialty in a teaching hospital of the Armed Forces. Should have research publications (Number, Authorship & Indexing as per NMC TEQ guidelines applicable for the duration of publication). Should be required to undergo Basic Course in Medical Education provided their broad specialty subject is covered under undergraduate training. Should have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research from Institution designated by NMC. Experience: 3 years. | Associate Professor: MCI/NMC recognized Post graduate (MD/MS/DNB/DrNB/MDS/M.Sc, Ph.D) from an institute established by law in India. Assistant professor in the subject for five years for those appointed directly as Assistant Professor in Government medical institution. Specialist Medical Officer of the Armed Forces having at least five years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty after obtaining the recognized Postgraduate qualification in the specialty of which at least three years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a teaching hospital of the Armed Forces. Should have research publications (Number, Authorship & Indexing as per NMC TEQ guidelines applicable for the duration of publication). Should have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research within two years of the appointment. Experience: 5 years. | Assistant Professor: MCI/NMC recognized Post graduate (MD/MS/DNB/DrNB/MDS/M.Sc, Ph.D) from an institute established by law in India. One year as Senior resident in the concerned subject in NMC/MCI recognized Medical College/institution after acquiring MD/MS/MDS degree. In case a candidate possesses DNB degree, they must have required experience as per NMC TEQ regulations amended from time to time. In Dentistry department: One year as Senior Resident or Registrar or Tutor or Lecturer in the concerned subject in a recognized medical or dental college after acquiring MDS degree. One year experience as Assistant Professor shall be considered against one year experience as a Senior Resident. Specialist Medical Officers of the Armed Forces having at least one year teaching experience or two years of clinical experience after obtaining the requisite postgraduate qualification in the concerned subject. Experience: 1 year. | Casualty Medical Officer: MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by the NMC. Experience: As per NMC TEQ guidelines.

No. CIMS/EST/T.Staff/RPC/12/2026-27) for 49 vacancies at Chamarajanagar, Karnataka. Eligible candidates possessing the qualifications prescribed under the Cadre & Recruitment Rules of the institute with the 2025 amendments and meeting the applicable age limits can apply offline up to 14 August 2026 through the official website, https://cimschamarajanagar.karnataka.gov.in. Selected candidates will be appointed on a full-time basis with pay ranging from ₹79,800 to ₹2,18,200 per month, depending on the post.
