CGSSB Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 36 Namuna Sahayak and Lab Assistant Posts

CGSSB Namuna Sahayak and Lab Assistant Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by the Office of the Controller, Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), Chhattisgarh, for direct recruitment to 36 posts of Namuna Sahayak, Lab Assistant (Aushadhi), and Lab Assistant (Khadya). This is an Application Open stage recruitment, with online applications accepted through the Chhattisgarh Karmchari Chayan Mandal (CGSSB) portal from 07.07.2026 to 31.07.2026, as per Advertisement No. ESTB-101/49/2025-SECTION(CFDA) and Exam Advertisement No. S.S.B./Pariksha F-20/2026/2871 dated 06.07.2026. This single recruitment drive covers three related posts, Namuna Sahayak, Lab Assistant (Aushadhi), and Lab Assistant (Khadya), under one common examination (FWLN26), and this article explains the complete post-wise details.

Nationality and Residency These posts are open only to local residents (domiciles) of Chhattisgarh state. Candidates who are not local residents of Chhattisgarh are not eligible to apply for direct recruitment to these posts. Age is reckoned as on 01.01.2025 for all three posts. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) are eligible for a further 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit. As per the Chhattisgarh Civil Service (Special Provision for Appointment of Women) Rules, 1997, women candidates are eligible for a maximum of 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit. Upper age relaxation for local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh is also subject to time-to-time notifications issued by the General Administration Department.

All three posts, Namuna Sahayak, Lab Assistant (Aushadhi), and Lab Assistant (Khadya), carry the same pay scale. 1. The written exam will be a single question paper of 100 marks, consisting of 100 objective-type questions, each carrying 1 mark.
2. Candidates will get 2 hours to attempt the paper.
3. Each question has four options, and the correct option must be marked on the OMR sheet using a blue or black ballpoint pen.
4. Negative marking applies: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
5. Final merit will be determined based on marks scored in the written examination.
6. Selection of eligible candidates will be made by the Departmental Selection Committee based on merit.
7. Original certificates of shortlisted candidates will be verified by the Office of the Controller, Food and Drug Administration, Chhattisgarh, before appointment.
8. Selected candidates must produce a fitness certificate from the District Hospital Medical Board before joining service.
9. Police verification (character verification) will be conducted after the candidate joins duty.
10. A waiting list will also be released for these posts, valid for one year from the date of release.
