Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as per Chhattisgarh Jal Sansadhan (Arajapatrit Takniki) Seva Bharti Niyam, 2016. Candidates must be domicile residents of Chhattisgarh State as on date of application. | Criteria Details Domicile Must be a domicile resident of Chhattisgarh State as on the date of application. Domicile certificate (Mool Niwasi Praman Patra) to be submitted at document verification. Educational Qualification (1) Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class XII) examination passed with Drawing (Rekha Chitra) as one of the subjects; OR (2) Higher Secondary (equivalent) certificate examination passed from a Board recognized by the State Government for this purpose. All educational qualifications Must be obtained by the date of advertisement of the post (as per Schedule-III of the Chhattisgarh Jal Sansadhan (Arajapatrit Takniki) Seva Bharti Niyam, 2016). Physical Fitness Must be declared mentally and physically fit as per the prescribed health examination conducted by the District Hospital Medical Board before appointment. Candidates convicted of crimes against women/children (under IPC Sections 354, 376, 376A, 376B, 376C, 376D, 376E, 509, 493, 493, 498 and POCSO Act 2012) are not eligible until final disposal of the case. Marital Status Male candidates with more than one living wife and female candidates who have married such a person are not eligible (subject to State Government exemption). Candidates who have married before the minimum prescribed age are not eligible. PwBD Disability Minimum 40% permanent disability required (OL, BL, HH). Permanent disability certificate from competent medical authority and UDID card mandatory. Temporary disability certificate not accepted. Verification/attestation of disability certificate/UDID card by the concerned Medical Board is mandatory before appointment. Government/PSU Employees Departmental candidates (employees of CG State/Nigam/Mandal) must obtain prior approval (Annapati Praman) from their employer before appearing for examination/selection. This must be submitted at document verification.

Age as on 1st January of the year of advertisement publication. General/UR candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have completed 30 years as on 01-01-2026. As per CG Government circular dated 18.01.2024, a special relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit (making it 35 years) has been extended from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2028 for local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh.
