CG Vyapam Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 153 Store Keeper, Mechanic and More Posts

The Chhattisgarh Karmachari Chayan Mandal (CGSSB), formerly known as the Chhattisgarh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (CG Vyapam), has opened online applications for the second-stage written recruitment examination (exam code NSSK26 ) for the posts of Store Keeper, Vahan Chalak (Driver), Vahan Chalak-cum-Operator, Mechanic, and Watch Room Operator under the Nagar Sena, Fire & Emergency Services and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Chhattisgarh.

Applicants must be local residents of Chhattisgarh. Post-wise educational and other qualifications, as per the original advertisement, are listed below. Women candidates are exempt from this physical eligibility test. Candidates must also meet the medical/vision standards specified in the notification. Minimum age: 18 years Maximum age: 28 years General relaxation: +5 years for all candidates (as per Chhattisgarh General Administration Department order dated 18.01.2024) SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates: further age relaxation as per state rules Chhattisgarh local resident women candidates: 10 years' relaxation in upper age limit Widowed, divorced, or abandoned women candidates: upper age limit relaxed up to 35 years Serving Chhattisgarh government employees: upper age limit relaxed up to 38 years, subject to conditions specified in the notification Ex-servicemen and retrenched government servants: age relaxation equal to service rendered, subject to a cap of 3 years beyond the upper age limit Recipients of Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Samman, Gundadhur Samman, Maharaja Praveerchand Bhanjdev Samman, and National Youth Award: 5 years' relaxation In all cases, even after combining multiple category-based relaxations, the maximum age cannot exceed 45 years Candidates claiming age relaxation must submit the specific supporting certificates listed in the original notification (competent authority certificate, divorce/death certificate, service certificate, etc., as applicable).

1. Application scrutiny: Only candidates meeting all eligibility conditions are permitted to the physical efficiency test stage.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - completed: Conducted by the department for the 7 non-Station-Officer posts, out of 100 marks; General category candidates required a minimum of 50 marks, SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of 40 marks. Events included 100m Race, Long Jump, Shot Put, and Pull-ups/Beam-bar (25 marks each). Candidates who qualified were forwarded to CGSSB for the written exam stage.
3. Written Exam (NSSK26) - current stage: 100 objective-type questions of 1 mark each, General Knowledge and Logical/Analytical Reasoning, 2-hour duration, no negative marking. Qualifying marks: General category - 40, SC/ST/OBC - 30.
4. Trade Test (Driver / Driver-cum-Operator only): An additional 100-mark trade test; General category minimum 50 marks, SC/ST/OBC minimum 40 marks.
5. Bonus marks: Up to 5 marks each (maximum 10 marks total, even with more than two qualifications) for: (a) a Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence - not applicable for Driver/Driver-cum-Operator posts themselves, (b) national-level sports proficiency as a winner in a competition organised directly under the relevant national sports federation, and (c) an NCC 'C' certificate.
6. Final Merit List: Prepared based on the total of PET marks + Written Exam marks + Bonus marks (bonus calculated separately), category-wise, following reservation rules.
