Qualification
Master's Degree in Sciences or Mathematics with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale) | Master's Degree in Education with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) | Doctor of Philosophy in Education | Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience at an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor level, with a minimum of 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018 | (i) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale) - subject-specific requirements are listed below | (ii) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) | (iii) National Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education or in the concerned subject, as prescribed by UGC for these categories of posts | (i) Post-Graduate degree in Education (M.Ed) with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) | (ii) National Eligibility Test or Doctor of Philosophy in Education, or any other qualification prescribed by UGC for these categories of posts | The time taken to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degrees will not be counted as teaching/research experience. | Active service spent simultaneously pursuing a Research Degree while on teaching assignment without taking leave shall be counted as teaching experience. | Offer letters, Appointment Orders, Joining Reports, and Relieving Orders will not be accepted as Experience Certificates. Experience certificates must clearly specify the break-up of service, scale of pay, and nature of appointment (Regular, Contract, Temporary, etc.) as per Clause 10 of UGC Regulations, 2018.

Central University of Kerala (CUK) has released two official notifications dated 10 June 2026 inviting applications for 48 teaching posts across regular departments and the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). Online applications open from 11 June 2026 at 4:00 PM and close on 10 July 2026 at 11:59 PM . The hard copy of the application must reach the university by 25 July 2026 at 5:00 PM . Eligible Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India may apply online through https://curec.samarth.ac.in .
