Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA) Sports Science & Support Staff Notification 2026 has been released in June 2026 on the official portal https://coach.biharsports.org/. A total of 17 vacancies have been announced through the BSSA KISCE Sports Science & Support Staff Recruitment 2026.

1. High Performance Director (1 post | ₹1,00,000-₹1,50,000 | Age: 65 years) Master in Sports (MSI/PhD/MBA) with at least 10 years of Research Experience; OR Eminent player having represented India in Senior Category with at least 5 years of sports management/research experience; OR Eminent Coach having trained Indian players with at least 10 years of sports management/research experience. Location: State Sports Academy, Rajgir, Bihar. 2. Exercise Physiologist Grade 2 (1 post | ₹60,000-₹80,000 | Age: 40 years) & Grade 1 (1 post | ₹40,000-₹60,000 | Age: 40 years) Essential qualification: MBBS / Masters in Medical Physiology / Human Physiology / Sports and Exercise Physiology. Higher qualification (PhD/MD Physiology) preferred for shortlisting. Interview of 100 marks covering domain expertise, practical application of physiology in sports, aptitude, recent advancements, soft skills, and allied sports science. 3. Nutritionist / Dietitian (1 post | ₹75,000-₹1,00,000 | Age: 40 years) Essential: M.Sc. (Nutrition) from any recognized Indian or Foreign University. Minimum 5 years of experience including at least 1 year with sports academies/institutions. Sports certifications (IOC Diploma, NIN 6-month certificate, etc.) preferred. Interview of 100 marks. 4. Masseuse (3 posts including at least 1 Female | ₹35,000 | Age: 35 years) Essential: Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a certificate course/skill development program in Massage Therapy/Sports Masseur from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of work experience as Masseur/Masseuse. Interview of 50 marks. 5. Strength & Conditioning Lead (1 post | ₹80,000-₹1,00,000) & Expert (1 post | ₹60,000-₹80,000) | Age: 45 years Essential: (a) Bachelor's or Master's in Sports and Exercise Science/Sports Science/Sports Coaching; OR (b) Any graduation with ASCA Level-1 or above / CSCS / UK SCA accredited coach / Diploma or Certificate in Fitness Training from Govt. Institution. Interview of 100 marks. Key scoring: domain expertise, training principles, pre-rehabilitation, sports achievement. 6. Psychologist Grade 1 (1 post | ₹40,000-₹60,000 | Age: 35 years) Essential: Master's degree in Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology / Sports Psychology / Developmental / Child Development from a recognized Indian or Foreign University. PhD preferred for shortlisting. Interview of 100 marks covering domain expertise, practical knowledge, recent advancements, soft skills, and allied sports science. 7. Physiotherapist Grade 1 (3 posts including at least 1 Female | ₹40,000-₹60,000 | Age: 45 years) Essential: Masters in Physiotherapy from any recognized Indian or Foreign University. Minimum 3 years of work experience as Physiotherapist. Specialization in Sports Science carries maximum shortlisting marks (30). Interview of 100 marks. 8. Young Professional (1 post | ₹40,000-₹60,000 | Age: 32 years) Essential: Master's degree / PG Diploma in Sports Management (min. 50% marks); OR Graduate with at least 3 years of work experience. Desirable: International level player with Bachelor's degree; or MBA / PG in Sports Management. Must have good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and ability to read, write, and speak English and Hindi. Interview of 100 marks covering language command, market research, Govt. organization experience, sports management experience, and general attitude. 9. Doctor - Sports Medicine Grade 2 (1 post | ₹80,000-₹1,00,000 | Age: 45 years) Essential: Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine recognized by erstwhile MCI. Desirable: Minimum 1 year of research/work experience with national/state athletes. 10. Nursing Assistant Grade 1 (1 post | ₹25,000 | Age: 35 years) Essential: Diploma in Nursing from a recognized university/institute. Desirable: Minimum 2 years of work experience in hospital. 11. Yoga Instructor (1 post | ₹25,000 | Age: 35 years) Essential: Bachelor's Degree with Diploma in Yoga Studies with 1 year of experience in the relevant field. Shortlisting based on educational qualification (Masters/MSc in Yoga preferred), work experience, sports sector experience, Govt./PSU experience, and additional certifications. Interview of 50 marks.
