BSFC Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 259 Accountant, Lower Grade Clerk and More Posts

The Food & Consumer Protection Department, Government of Bihar, has released a notice (Advertisement No. BCECEB(BSFC)-2026/01, dated 24 August 2026) inviting online applications for a written-exam-based panel for recruitment to Bihar State Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. (BSFC). The panel covers 259 posts across 5 designations - Assistant Manager, Assistant Accounts Officer, Accountant, Quality Controller, and Lower Grade Clerk - and will be conducted through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). This panel will be valid for one year.

A Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is also accepted where the institution's PGDBM was renamed PGDM after 2007. Clarification: no degree/diploma with any other name change will be recognized as equivalent to the prescribed qualification. 02 Assistant Accounts Officer ₹9,300–34,800, Grade Pay ₹4,600 (Level-7) (a) Chartered Accountancy along with a B.Com degree from a recognized university, OR (b) B.Com degree from a recognized university with 5 years' experience as Assistant Accounts Officer or an equivalent post in the Central Government/Bihar Government or a Central/Bihar Government undertaking or corporation. 03 Accountant PB-1, Grade Pay ₹2,400 (Level-4) B.Com from a recognized university with CA-Inter (Intermediate) passed. 04 Quality Controller PB-1, Grade Pay ₹2,400 (Level-4) B.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized university/AICTE-approved institution, OR B.Tech/B.E. in Food Science, Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or Biotechnology. 05 Lower Grade Clerk PB-1, Grade Pay ₹1,900 (Level-2) Graduate from a recognized university, with proficiency in computer operation and typing.
