BSA Aligarh KGBV Recruitment 2026: 122 Vacancies for Principal, PGT & Other Posts – Apply by 20 July

BSA Aligarh KGBV Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by the Office of the District Basic Education Officer (BSA), Aligarh, on 05-07-2026 for 122 contractual posts in 9 upgraded Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) schools of Aligarh district. Eligible candidates can submit applications only through Speed Post or Registered Post by 20-07-2026, up to 5:00 PM. This recruitment covers multiple posts, including Principal, PGT (various subjects), Lab Assistant, Office Superintendent/Clerk, Caretaker, Peon, Watchman, and Cook, under one notification.

Gender Eligibility Only female candidates will be selected for all 14 posts under this recruitment. Educational Qualification Post Name Minimum Qualification Principal Trained M.A. (Hindi/English) or M.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Maths/Computer Science) from a recognized university, with at least 4 years teaching experience in classes 9 to 12, or at least 4 years' experience as Principal of a recognized Junior High School; candidate should not be less than 30 years of age. Alternative qualifications: 10 years teaching experience with First/Second class postgraduate degree along with training, in an accredited institution's Intermediate classes; or a training diploma in Education along with First/Second class postgraduate qualification, provided the candidate has completed 15 or 20 years of teaching service after obtaining the diploma, as applicable. PGT Hindi M.A . in Hindi with Sanskrit, or as per the Government Sanskrit College, Varanasi / Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi examination equivalent. PGT English Postgraduate degree in English from a recognized university as per rules, or Postgraduate Diploma with a Training/Diploma from an L.T. Principal: Minimum 30 years and maximum 45 years, as on 01 April of the selection year, along with at least 4 years of teaching experience in classes 9 to 12. All other posts: Minimum 25 years and maximum 45 years, as on 01 April of the selection year. Maximum age for service in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya is 60 years. Selected candidates will be paid a fixed monthly honorarium as per the post, ranging from Rs. 6,755 to Rs. 30,000. Employees receiving an honorarium of less than Rs. 15,000 will be covered under EPF/EPS, with a 12% employee contribution and 13% employer contribution deducted from the honorarium. 1. If two or more candidates have equal quality marks, the candidate with a higher age will be ranked above in the merit list.
2. If quality marks and age are both equal, candidates will be ranked as per the English alphabetical order of their names.
3. All submitted certificates will be verified with the concerned board/institution at the time of selection.
4. Honorarium payment will be made only after verification of documents.
5. The service agreement for teaching and non-teaching staff in KGBV schools will be for 11 months and 29 days per academic session.
6. On satisfactory performance, a new contract for the next session may be made for another 11 months and 29 days after approval of the District Magistrate.
7. Unsatisfactory service may lead to termination with one month's notice; serious misconduct or financial irregularity may lead to immediate termination and an FIR against the concerned person.
