Braithwaite & Co Ltd (A Government of India Undertaking) has released the Braithwaite & Co Ltd Recruitment 2026 Notification under Reference No. WII/ 2026/ 3 on its official website. A total of 29 contractual vacancies have been announced for various posts including GM/ DGM, Senior Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Engineers, and Safety Officer.

Eligibility for each post depends on educational qualification and years of relevant work experience, mostly in large manufacturing organisations preferably in Wagon/ Container/ Bridge/ Crane/ Engineering/ Steel sectors. The complete post-wise eligibility criteria are given below. Educational Qualification and Experience (Post-Wise) S. No. Post Name Qualification & Experience Required 1 GM/ DGM (Projects) BE/ BTech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil (preferably with MBA) with 25+ years' experience (20+ years for DGM) in handling large infrastructure projects in Wagon/ Container/ Bridge construction sectors. 2 DGM/ Senior Manager (Business Development) BE/ BTech in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil (preferably with MBA) with 20+ years' experience (15 years for SM) in handling business development & marketing in large organisations, preferably in Wagon/ Container/ Bridge/ Crane sectors. 3 DGM/ Senior Manager (Production) BE/ BTech in Mechanical/ Electrical with 20+ years' shopfloor experience (15 years for SM) in large manufacturing organisations, preferably in Wagon/ Container manufacturing. 4 SM/ Manager (Wagon/ Bridge/ Crane/ Container Project) BE/ BTech in Mechanical/ Electrical with 15+ years' experience (12 years for Manager) in large manufacturing organisations, preferably in Wagon/ Container/ Crane/ Container/ Civil Infra/ Engineering/ Steel sectors. 5 DGM/ Senior Manager (Design) BE/ BTech in Mechanical/ Electrical with 20+ years' experience (15 years for SM) of designing in large manufacturing organisations, preferably in Wagon/ Container/ Crane/ Bridge sectors. Experience in FEA analysis is preferable. 6 Manager/ Dy. Manager (Design) Same qualification as above. Experience required is 12+ years for Manager and 8+ years for Dy. Manager. 7 Dy. Manager/ Sr. Executive (Civil) BE/ BTech in Civil with 8-10 years' experience in large manufacturing organisations, preferably in maintenance of civil infrastructure. 8 AM (Marketing & Commercial) Minimum graduate with 7-10 years' experience in marketing and commercial functions in an engineering/ railway product manufacturing company. PSU experience will be preferred. 9 Engineer (Mechanical) BE/ BTech in Mechanical with 3 years' experience, OR Diploma in Mechanical with 5 years' experience, out of which 3 years should be in a large plant, preferably Wagon/ Container/ Engineering/ Steel sectors. 10 Engineer (Electrical) BE/ BTech in Electrical with 3 years' experience, OR Diploma in Electrical with 5 years' experience, out of which 3 years should be in a large plant, preferably Wagon/ Container/ Engineering/ Steel sectors. 11 Safety Officer Degree/ Diploma in Industrial Safety with 3 to 5 years' experience in any heavy engineering company/ factory/ workshop. Additional Advantage: Experience of working at a project site will be an added advantage for candidates applying to any of the above posts.
