Qualification
A Bachelor's degree with at least one subject from: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Zoology, from a recognized university, OR | A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent institution. | Bihar government employees: 5 years' relaxation in maximum age limit for those who have completed a minimum of 3 years of regular service, for appearing in competitive exams to move to a higher pay scale/cadre. | Ex-servicemen (for civil posts): 3 years' relaxation plus relaxation equal to the length of defence service, provided actual age does not exceed 57 years as on the cut-off date.

Selection process
