3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, OR | 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent | Minimum percentage/class required: Pass Class | Should be a Junior Commissioned Officer of the rank of Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) or above from the Indian Air Force | Must have completed 15 years of service in the Indian Air Force | Discharge book/certificate from the Indian Air Force must clearly indicate medical category, date of discharge, and an Exemplary/Very Good or equivalent record

1. Selection is through a Written Test , followed by an Interview only for those candidates who qualify in the written test
2. Candidates are shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:7 (as per vacancy in each category)
3. Where the number of eligible applicants is high, the number called for the written test itself may be limited in proportion to the requirement, based on academic excellence, experience, etc.
4. Candidature is provisional at all stages and subject to satisfactory antecedent verification; an adverse antecedent report leads to cancellation
5. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being found medically fit in a Pre-Employment Medical Examination – no relaxation in health standards is allowed
