Educational Qualification (as on 01-06-2026) ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) or MCA from AICTE/UGC approved college/institute or recognized university. Pass class for all categories including SC/ST/PwBD. Eligible Disciplines Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication / Communication / Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Information Science / MCA. (Note: Discipline on degree certificate must exactly match the advertised specialization.) CGPA/Credits Conversion Candidates assessed on CGPA/credits system must attach the official university conversion formula from CGPA/credits to percentage. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of candidature. Experience – Field Operation Engineer 5 years relevant post-qualification work experience in Networking/Data Centres operations/Database administration. Required knowledge: Data networking concepts, DBMS, Firewall, AAA server, Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Switching protocols (STP, RSTP, VTP), EtherChannel, NTP, VLAN, Port Security, DNS, CCNA basics, IP addressing & subnetting, Linux basics. Experience – Project Engineer-I 2 years relevant post-qualification work experience in the same domains as FOE above. Non-Eligible Experience Teaching/Academic/Research work, experience in banking and financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and internship placements forming part of academic curriculum will NOT be considered as experience. BEL Employees Trainee Engineers/Project Engineers/FOE/Sr.FOE currently working in BEL must submit a copy of 'Intimation Letter' duly signed by the concerned HR while applying. Lateral application for the same post is not permitted. PSU / Govt. Employees Must compulsorily submit a 'No Objection Certificate' at the time of application or interview.
