Arunachal Pradesh PSC Group A & Group B Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 155 Veterinary Officer, ADO and More Posts

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026, dated 01.09.2026, inviting online applications for the Common Recruitment Examination for Group-A & Group-B, Gazetted (Technical) Posts–2026 (Part-I). A total of 155 posts are on offer across five technical posts: Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director (Sericulture), and Dairy Development Officer, under various departments of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Permanent Residence Criterion: Candidate must be a citizen of India and an inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC). | Indigenous Status and APST Criterion: Candidate must be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh and hold an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate as per the list of Tribes notified under the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950. | Indigenous Tribal Language Proficiency Criterion: Candidate must be able to speak an Indigenous Tribal Language of Arunachal Pradesh and possess working knowledge of the local indigenous tribes, per the implementation mechanism notified by the Government.

Candidates must not be less than 21 years and not more than 35 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application, 30th September 2026. Age relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) category. Age relaxation of up to 10 years for candidates belonging to the PwBD category (15 years for APST-PwBD candidates). Age concession for regular State Government employees applies as per prevailing government rules. A one-time upper age relaxation applies for candidates applying for the earlier cancelled examinations (ADO, HDO, VO, and DDO posts), per Government Notification dated 29th June 2026. Date of birth accepted will be as entered in the Matriculation Certificate issued by a recognized Board; no other document (horoscope, affidavit, birth extract, etc.) will be accepted as age proof. Selected candidates for Group-A posts (Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Director-Sericulture) will be placed in Pay Level 10, carrying a pay scale of ₹56,100–₹1,77,500. The Dairy Development Officer (Group-B) post carries Pay Level 6, ₹35,400–₹1,12,400. 1. General candidates must score an aggregate of 33% of total marks in the written exam, with at least 20% in each paper/subject.
2. PwBD candidates must score an aggregate of 20% of total marks in the written exam, with at least 10% in each paper/subject.
3. Candidates invited for Interview/Viva-voce will be about 3 times the number of advertised vacancies (post/category-wise), or as decided by the Commission.
