APSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 137 Posts

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited online applications for 137 Veterinary Officer/Block Veterinary Officer (VO/BVO) posts under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Government of Assam, through Advt. No. 11/2026 dated 3rd August 2026. Candidates who are permanent residents of Assam and hold a degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science can apply online at apscrecruitment.in from 7 August 2026 to 6 September 2026. The recruitment is for direct appointment on a pay scale of Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 1,10,000 with Grade Pay Rs. 12,700 under Pay Band 4. To be eligible for APSC VO/BVO Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the nationality, domicile, educational, and age criteria detailed below. Nationality and Domicile The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam. As proof of domicile, candidates must upload either a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026. Age is calculated based on the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council where the Date of Birth is clearly reflected; no other document is accepted for age proof.
