APSC Junior Manager (APGCL) Recruitment 2026: 31 Posts, Apply Online

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited online applications from Indian Citizens for 31 Junior Manager posts under the Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL), across the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, Information Technology, Instrumentation and Civil. This recruitment is issued vide Advertisement No. 10/2026 (Memo No. 20 PSC/DR-21/1/2026-27), dated 16 July 2026. Eligible diploma holders can apply online at apscrecruitment.in from 22 July 2026 to 21 August 2026.

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India | The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam | As domicile proof, candidates must upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose, or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, which will be treated as proof of residency | Full-time Diploma course in Engineering from any Government/Government-recognized/AICTE-approved Polytechnic or Institution | Course duration must be a minimum of 3 years after HSLC or equivalent, or 2 years (Base) + 2 years (Diploma) from a Government/recognized/AICTE-approved institution | Minimum 60% marks required in the qualifying examination of the Diploma course (minimum 50% for SC and ST candidates)

Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026 . Age Relaxation Category Relaxation SC/ST 5 years (upto 43 years) OBC/MOBC 3 years (upto 41 years), as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated Dispur, 25 April 2018 Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) 10 years, irrespective of SC/ST/OBC/UR category, as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur, 28 October 2015 Ex-Servicemen Maximum age 50 years as on 01-01-2026 for Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates Age will be calculated based on the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council, where the Date of Birth is clearly reflected. No other document will be accepted for age proof.
