APPSC Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 299 Forest Range Officer, Supervisor and More Posts

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada, has released eight Brief Notifications, all dated 15 September 2026, for direct recruitment to a total of 299 posts across eight different subordinate services of the Andhra Pradesh Government - including Executive Officer Grade-III, Forest Range Officer, Forest Section Officer, Forest Beat Officer, Draughtsman Grade-II, District Probation Officer Grade-II, Industrial Promotion Officer, and Supervisor Grade-I. Eligible candidates can apply online at psc.ap.gov.in from 16 October 2026 to 5 November 2026.

APPSC Various Posts Qualification Post Essential Qualification Executive Officer Grade-III Bachelor's Degree from a University in India established/incorporated by a Central, State, or Provincial Act, or any UGC-recognised institution, or an equivalent qualification. District Probation Officer Grade-II / Intake Probation Officer Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Psychology, or any graduation with an M.A. in Social Work or Psychology, or an M.A. with specialisation in Criminology or Correctional Administration, from a University in India established/incorporated by a Central, State, or Provincial Act. Industrial Promotion Officer Not specified in the Brief Notification; educational qualification will be published in the Detailed Notification. Supervisor Grade-I (Only for Women) Bachelor's Degree in Home Science, B.S.W., Sociology, or one of several specified B.Sc. streams in Food Science & Nutrition/Applied Nutrition/Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics/Food Technology combined with Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry (as per G.O.Ms.No.14, WCD&SCs Dept., dated 27.06.2013). Only candidates with a higher qualification specifically in Home Science/Social Work/Sociology/Food Science & Nutrition are eligible. Forest Section Officer Bachelor's degree with Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, or Agriculture as a subject, or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Civil), from a recognised university or equivalent. Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant) A trade certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade, i.e. ITI in the state or its equivalent examination. Forest Beat Officer Must have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent. Physical requirements are detailed in the online Detailed Notification. Forest Range Officer Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university, or equivalent, in one of the following subjects: Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/Computer Science, Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, or Zoology. For all eight posts, the notification states that applicants must possess the requisite educational qualification as on the date of the Detailed Notification.
