Ambedkar Nagar UP Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 107 Anganwadi Worker & Helper Posts

Office of the District Programme Officer, Ambedkar Nagar (ICDS/Anganwadi Chayan Samiti) has released the Ambedkar Nagar Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 Notification on 03 August 2026 on the official portal upanganwadibharti.in. A total of 107 vacancies have been announced for Anganwadi Karyakatri (Worker) and Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) posts through the Ambedkar Nagar Anganwadi Recruitment 2026.

Minimum age: 18 years | Maximum age: 35 years | Cut-off date for age calculation: 1 July 2026 | The date of birth mentioned in the High School (Class 10) certificate/mark sheet will be considered valid for age calculation.

The specific honorarium/salary amount payable to selected Anganwadi Karyakatri and Sahayika is not mentioned in this notification. Both posts are engaged on an honorarium-based contractual service basis under the ICDS scheme, and candidates are advised to refer to the official notification or contact the District Programme Office, Ambedkar Nagar, for the current honorarium structure.

1. Chairperson: Chief Development Officer or a senior administrative officer of Additional District Magistrate rank, nominated by the District Magistrate
2. Member Secretary: District Programme Officer of the district
3. Member: District-level SC/ST officer nominated by the District Magistrate
4. Member: District-level OBC officer nominated by the District Magistrate
5. Member: A Group 'A' or 'B' woman officer posted in the district, nominated by the District Magistrate
6. Member/Presenter: Concerned Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) of the project
7. An eligible Sahayika of the same Anganwadi centre in the same Gram Sabha/Ward with a minimum of 5 years of regular service, minimum Intermediate qualification, and age not exceeding 50 years.
8. If not available, an eligible Sahayika from another Anganwadi centre within the same Gram Sabha/Ward, selected on merit.
9. If the 50% quota is not filled at the project level, remaining vacancies are filled at the district level following the same 50% principle.
10. Widow from a family living below the poverty line (BPL)
11. Legally divorced or deserted woman from a BPL family
12. Other women from a BPL family (if no widow/divorced/deserted candidate is available)
13. If no eligible BPL candidate is available: Widow from an Above Poverty Line (APL) family
14. Legally divorced or deserted woman from an APL family
15. Other eligible women from an APL family
16. Original certificates of selected candidates are verified by a committee comprising one Selection Committee member/District Programme Officer and the concerned CDPO.
17. On satisfactory verification, appointment letters are issued by the District Programme Officer (the appointing authority) within 15 working days of District Magistrate's approval.
18. A waiting list (2nd position candidates) is also prepared for each vacant centre; if the selected candidate does not join, the waiting-list candidate is considered as per seniority, subject to District Magistrate's approval.
19. The waiting list remains valid only for 3 months (90 days) from the date of issue.
