AIIMS Rishikesh Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 has been announced by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh, vide Advertisement No. 2026/08 dated 05 July 2026. AIIMS Rishikesh is inviting online applications for 95 posts of Senior Resident (Non-Academic) on a tenure basis across 29 departments. The online application window is open from 05 July 2026 (10:00 hrs) to 04 August 2026 (17:00 hrs). Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination by the last date of application submission, with the result declared by that date. | The tenure of the qualifying degree must also be completed by the last date of application submission. | Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered eligible for these posts. | OBC candidates must belong to the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) as per the Central List of OBC, and their sub-caste must match the entries in that list. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued on or after 01 April 2026 to be considered valid. | EWS candidates must submit a valid Income and Assets Certificate for financial year 2026-2027, issued on or after 01 April 2026 and on or before the last date of application submission, based on income of the year 2025-2026. | No age or eligibility relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) vacancies.

The upper age limit till completion of Senior Residency is 45 years as on the last date of submission of the online application form (04 August 2026). Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules and regulations, as amended from time to time. Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency are not eligible to apply for these posts.

Selected candidates will be paid as per Level 11 of the Pay Matrix under 7th CPC, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) as applicable.

1. Candidates working in Central/State Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
2. SC/ST candidates must submit a certificate issued by a Tehsildar or an officer of equivalent or higher rank, in the standard Central Government format.
3. PwBD candidates must submit a disability certificate signed by a duly constituted Medical Board of a State or Central Government Hospital/Institution, countersigned by the Medical Superintendent.
