Educational Qualification | Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree - MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch or equivalent - in the relevant department, recognised by the Medical Council of India/NMC/NBE. For Clinical Haematology seats, candidates with MD in General Medicine or MD in Paediatrics will also be considered. | Age Limit | The upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of walk-in interview (cut-off date). Age relaxation is applicable as follows: | Category Age Relaxation SC / ST 5 years OBC 3 years PwBD 10 years Ex-Servicemen 5 years | SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates applying for unreserved vacancies will not be eligible for age relaxation. Reserve category candidates eligible only by age relaxation will be considered solely for reserved seats of their category. | Reservation | Reservation for EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST candidates is as per Central Government rules. 4% horizontal reservation is applicable for PwBD candidates. OBC-NCL certificate must be valid for Central Government posts and not older than 1 year from the date of interview. EWS certificate must similarly not be older than 1 year.
