All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna Senior Resident Notification 2026 has been released in August 2026 on the official website aiimspatna.edu.in. A total of 68 vacancies have been announced through the AIIMS Patna Senior Resident Recruitment 2026.

Candidates who have already completed the maximum permissible period of Senior Residency under the applicable Residency Scheme are not eligible. Applicants must also pass the qualifying examination on or before 31st July 2026 and be able to furnish proof of this by the same date. Selected Senior Residents will be paid as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), Level-11 of the pay matrix (pre-revised PB-3), with an entry pay of Rs. 67,700 per month, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other allowances as admissible under Government of India rules.

1. Verification of eligibility and original documents.
2. Selection based on performance in the walk-in interview, subject to fulfilment of prescribed eligibility criteria, document verification and applicable reservation rules.
3. In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, the candidate older in age (earlier date of birth) will be placed higher in the merit list.
4. Performance in the interview and/or any other selection process, as decided by the Competent Authority.
