AIIMS Nagpur Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 72 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur (AIIMS Nagpur) has released Advt. No. Admin-1/SR/26/04, dated 03/09/2026, inviting applications for 72 Senior Resident (SR) posts across 31 clinical and para-clinical departments under the Government of India Residency Scheme. This AIIMS Nagpur Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 drive is open to Indian nationals holding a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB or DM/M.Ch for super-speciality disciplines) in the relevant discipline. Applications, along with the online fee payment receipt and self-attested certificates, must be submitted through the official Google Form link on or before 17 September 2026, by 5:00 PM.

Applicant must be an Indian National. | Only candidates who have already been declared successful in their qualifying degree exam, and will complete their tenure for the same on or before the closing date of application, are eligible. | If the result of the qualifying exam is declared after the closing date, the candidature stands automatically cancelled. | Candidates should not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency under the Residency Scheme in any Government medical institution (regular, ad-hoc or contract basis); any Senior Residency already completed is reduced from the 3-year tenure being offered. | Candidates already in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institution service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview. | Candidates should not have been convicted by any Court of Law. | Candidates wishing to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post.

1. The date of interview will be notified separately on the AIIMS Nagpur website.
2. If a large number of applications are received, shortlisting for the interview will be done based on qualification, additional qualification, experience, etc., or through a written test.
3. The interview may spill over to the next day; candidates should be prepared to be available on the following day if necessary.
4. The decision of the Executive Director, AIIMS Nagpur, on selection is final and binding, and no representation will be entertained.
5. The offer of appointment, when made, is provisional and subject to verification of educational and personal credentials by the competent authority.
6. Appointment is also subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a competent Medical Board.
7. Names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed only on the institute website; no separate individual intimation will be sent.
