A total of 103 vacancies have been announced through the AIIMS Guwahati Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 across 33 departments on a tenure basis for a period of 3 years under the Central Residency Scheme.

1. The list of eligible candidates, after scrutiny, is uploaded on the Institute website.
2. Document Verification (DV) reporting time: 8:00 AM.
3. Interview time: 9:00 AM onwards.
4. Interview venue: Director's Board Room, Medical College Building, AIIMS Guwahati.
5. No TA/DA is paid for appearing in the interview.
6. A separate merit list (selected and waiting list) is prepared for each category - UR, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST - based on the interview.
7. Selected candidates must undergo document verification before the offer of appointment is issued.
8. Any vacancy arising from non-joining or resignation of a selected candidate is offered to the next candidate on the waiting list as per merit.
9. Candidates can apply for more than one post among the listed departments, but must submit a separate application form with separate fee for each post.
