AIIMS Bilaspur Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – Walk in for 69 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur (AIIMS Bilaspur) has invited applications for a walk-in interview for the post of Senior Resident (Non-Academic) for a total of 69 vacancies, spanning Broad Specialty and Super Specialty departments. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule, or Part II of the third schedule, of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (candidates with Part II third schedule qualifications must also fulfil the conditions of Section 13(3) of the Act). | Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council. | A postgraduate degree, i.e., MD/MS/DNB as per MCI rule in the specialty concerned, or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. | Candidates must hold a valid qualification (pass certificate) as on the last date for receipt of applications.

Upper Age Limit: 45 years (age as on crucial date) Note: The notification states the upper age limit is determined as on the last date of submission of online applications; however, this recruitment is conducted via walk-in interview with no online application form specified, so candidates should confirm the exact crucial date with AIIMS Bilaspur. Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted for determining age, and no subsequent request for change will be considered. No age relaxation is available to reserved category candidates applying against unreserved vacancies. Permissible age relaxation as per Government orders will be allowed subject to submission of documentary proof of the applicable category.

Selected Senior Residents (Non-Academic) will be paid as per the following pay matrix, along with admissible allowances applicable to Government of India employees stationed at Bilaspur, H.P. Candidate Type Pay Level Minimum Pay Medical Candidates (MD/MS/DNB) Level-11 Rs. 67,700/- + NPA + admissible allowances Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.) Level-10 Rs. 56,100/- + admissible allowances (NPA not applicable) The tenure of the post is 3 years for Broad Specialty and 2 years for Super Specialty (extendable with approval of the Executive Director), provided the candidate's overall past residency period at AIIMS Bilaspur or another institute does not exceed the stipulated period.

1. Walk-in Interview will be held at the Administrative Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh-174037.
2. Candidates are required to report on or before 09:00 AM on 21.08.2026.
3. Candidates must appear physically before the interview board; no request for an online interview will be entertained.
4. Based on verification of original documents, the Screening Committee may shortlist candidates for interview.
5. Only original certificates of candidates selected for the post of Senior Resident will be verified, including MBBS degree certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, qualifying degree certificate, Medical Registration Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate/10th Standard Certificate, Caste Certificate, and other relevant certificates.
