Condition Requirement Maximum Age Not more than 50 years as on the last date for submission of application (1 October 2026) Gap Since Retirement The period between the date of retirement from the Indian Army/Navy/Air Force/Coast Guard and the last date for submission of application must not exceed 6 years Maximum Age During Extension Any extension of the contract cannot take the consultant beyond 55 years of age

1. There is no written examination. Only candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are shortlisted will be called for Application Verification followed by an Interview .
2. Final selection is based on merit ranking of the interview alone.
3. The schedule for verification/interview will be intimated to shortlisted candidates only on their registered email ID.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the application verification/interview, for joining the assignment, on its completion, or at any point during the engagement process.
5. Mere submission of an application, or meeting the eligibility criteria, does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview/selection.
6. Prior to commencement of the contract, AAI may require the selected consultant to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate (equivalent to defence medical standards) from a recognized physician, duly certified by the ATS In-Charge of the Joint User Defence Airfield where deployment is likely.
